Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Dr. Mallad relocated to the High Desert area, driven by a profound dedication to serve the community with the utmost care. In recognition of her exemplary leadership during this critical time, she was honored with the Women of Excellence award in 2022 by Today’s Women Foundation and received commendations from the mayors of the towns.
